Did a day trip with a number of bikers staying over at Koedoeskloof. We did about round robin route of about 300km on the day. Starting of at Koedoeskloof, we did a route via Anysberg Nature Reserve over some private land, then all the way to Gamkapoortdam, then via Seweweekspoort back to Koedoeskloof.

Making a start

A new chapter has started today. A chapter about writing about our traveling on a motorcycle.

Traveling started actually earlier this year. Janneke and myself did our first road trip to an event held at Koedoeskloof near Ladysmith. Jo Rust did a talk on her solo adventure about going around Africa on a motorcycle, the first lady in the world to achieve this feat. I wanted to attend because of the trip I want to do from Home to Amsterdam. A trip planned for 2018 but more on this later.

Anyhow, I got Janneke to join me. So, to get this blog started, here are some pics of the trip.

We had a good trip to our overnight stay. A nice self catering place just down the road from Koedoeskloof.
